The new Fort Sam Houston Elementary Gymnasium is a 15,000 SF stand-alone building on an active campus, built roughly 70 feet from the existing building and 25 feet from the playground. This is a pre-engineered metal building and contains a gym, classrooms, and restrooms.
The Lindale High School Multi-Purpose Facility is a 61,182 square foot, clear-span building with an 80 yard synthetic turf field. This facility provides an indoor practice space for various Lindale ISD teams and groups. With a mechanically lowered divider net at the 50-yard line, the area can easily be divided in half to accommodate different groups or activities. Net cages can be lowered from the ceiling to accommodate batting, throwing, or kicking practice and net goalposts can be lowered at each end zone. The north end and west side feature viewing decks.
The McWhorter Elementary renovation included updates to the school entry and main office, the main corridor, the cafeteria, and the library. The library was opened up and enlarged to include a maker space, broadcasting room, and green screen studio. Climate control and energy efficiency were improved throughout the campus with the installation of a new roof and RTUs.
The Lindale High School campus received major additions with a new, two-story academic wing, new front entry, new kitchen with an expanded student eating area, new practice gym, and a new indoor practice facility. The two-story classroom addition includes multiple science labs, a speech and debate room equipped with a speaking stage, a computer lab with the latest Apple computers, and a fully functioning media room with green room capabilities, stage lights, and state-of-the-art film equipment. The academic expansion gave the high school over 38,000 more square feet. The new kitchen and expanded student eating area added 3,100 more square feet to the campus. In addition to the all-new kitchen, this new space includes additional seating for students and a new serving line with hot and cold food staging areas. The additional practice gym is a free-standing, brick building located on the southeast side of the building.
The Quitman ISD High School received a Canopy at the Auditorium Entrance that matches the Front Entrance Canopy. They also received new Tennis Courts along with spectator bleachers, and a newly paved parking lot.
The Lindale ISD High School Stadium received a remodel with a total of 8,500 seats, a new home-side concession stand and a new state-of-the-art press box. The two level press box includes a media room, coach’s rooms and an alumni room. The alumni room is complete with a kitchenette, bar height tables and two levels of viewing area. Additional parking on both the home and visitor sides was also added. The construction of this project was completed in 2019.

Joe has over 27 years of experience and serves as the Director of Operations for our South and Central Texas regions; he will oversee day‐to‐day field operations and will provide support to the Project Teams. He will also manage our South Texas office and continue to help us grow that market.
Joe started in the industry in residential construction where he renovated and built new custom homes around the California area. He has worked in several different industries and locations around the country and brings a wealth of experience in planning logistics and phasing scope to minimize impact to existing building activities.
He is skilled at pre-planning, project scheduling and subcontractor relations and provides a keen eye monitoring compliance with our quality control standards and site-specific safety programs. Joe will create a working environment focused on providing open lines of communication, accountability, and flexibility.
Joe has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Kaplan University. He lives in San Antonio with his wife, Amber, and has three adult sons and two grandsons. Joe and his wife are excited to be back in the San Antonio area since they grew up and went to high school in San Antonio.
With 14 years of experience under his belt, Scottie serves as the Director of Operations for our East and North Texas regions. He joined Jackson Construction in 2007 as an Assistant Superintendent / Information Technology professional in the East Texas area. He has excelled at managing successful projects to our clients through his acute ability to plan and his hands-on approach. If a client experiences an issue with a building that was built last week or 10 years ago, Scottie is the first person you call to remedy the situation.
Scottie provides guidance to all projects on issues relative to schedule, costs, subcontractor relationships and personnel development. He is an excellent resource to our site personnel to help mitigate challenges and provide guidance as needed. He works tirelessly to provide solutions to the various issues we face daily in the field. His positive attitude and upbeat demeanor are welcoming sights when tensions arise during the heat of the summer months when our people are working their hardest to achieve completion.
Scottie has a multitude of talents that has helped lead him into his role with us today. He enjoys camping and riding his side-by-side UTV at Wind Point Park in Lone Oak with his family. Scottie has been married to his wife Amanda since 2006 and they have a son named Tyler.
Bryan serves as Vice President of Pre-Construction and Corporate Administration. He oversees the areas of bond planning, time of award, and the start of construction. He keeps projects moving forward with timely and accurate budgets that assist owners with making real time decisions as well as signing and executing agreements with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
With over thirteen years of experience in the construction industry he has worked on an estimated 100+ projects with values ranging from below $1 million to $116 million. Bryan started his career in Pre-Construction in 2008 working on schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and has been with Jackson Construction since January 1, 2017, when he co-founded our Richardson, TX office.
Bryan has been a member of the Association 4 Learning Environments since 2014. He is a Texas A&M graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Bryan is married to his wife, Kari, and has two beautiful daughters.
Matt has been with Jackson Construction for five years and now serves as the Vice President of Operations where he oversees all company operations, field operations, and provides support to both of our Directors of Operations, our Safety Team, Senior Project Manager, and Project Teams. Matt makes it a priority to engage with our employees and convey our company vision, mission, and culture. He was instrumental in building our South Texas market, which lead to us opening an office in San Antonio during 2019. Matt started officially working in construction over 11 years ago, but grew up in the industry as a laborer spending his high school summers working around various job sites helping out wherever he could.
Since beginning his career in the construction industry, Matt has excelled in many positions including, Lead Technician at a Geotechnical Engineering company, Project Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager. Before Matt started his career in construction, he landed a job in college working for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club as an inside sale rep. from 2005-2007. From 2007-2010 he spent his time as a touring musician playing the drums.
Matt has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. He loves to spend time with his wife, Amanda, his son, and his daughter playing golf and traveling with them to new places.
