Quitman, TX, August 1, 2017 – In July 2017, White Oak ISD awarded Jackson Construction with their CMAR 2017 Bond Phase 1 Projects, one of several East Texas ISD projects awarded to Jackson Construction after the 2017 May Bonds passed.
White Oak ISD’s projects consist of $13M in Additions and Renovations to their existing High School and Middle School Science Labs with an Elevator Addition to their Middle School Lab, Misc repairs to their Primary and Intermediate campuses, Roofing Replacement to various campuses in the District, Air Handler Unit Replacement to all campuses and the Demolition and Construction of a new 10,000-sq. ft. Feild House at their High School.
Construction of these projects will begin in late fall 2017 and completion is estimated to be in Summer 2018.

Quitman, TX, July 31, 2017 – In July 2017, Jackson Construction won a CMAR award to be the Construction Manager for Mexia ISD’s new Field House. The new Field House is part of MISD’s 2015 Bond Program consisting of various new and renovation projects in their district.
President and Owner Tim Jackson showed enthusiasm by saying “We are very excited for this opportunity to work with MISD and their design partner HESCO Hanks Engineering Services Company! I am confident that our team has the right experience and expertise to successfully complete this project.”

Quitman, TX, July 28, 2017 – July 2017 was an incredible month for Jackson Construction. We were awarded roles as the CMAR for several East Texas ISD’s, we were presented with opportunities in South Texas, and we secured significant awards in the DFW Metroplex.
A signature win for Jackson Construction: the award of the New Hidden Creek Middle School for Burleson ISD, a great opportunity for us as we continue our expansion into the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
The new $47M, 165,000-sq. ft. Middle School will be the replacement facility to the existing Kerr Middle School and is part of BISD’s overall 2017 Bond Program. Construction of the new school will commence in Spring of 2018 with a Substantial Completion Date of Summer 2019.

Richardson, TX, July 27, 2017 – Jackson Construction would like to welcome to the team Rosa (aka Rosy) Criales. Rosy joins us from San Diego, CA and brings with her more than six years’ experience in Project Management and Business Development. Her role will be Assistant Project Manager on the New Melissa Elementary School. Rosy excels in managing subcontractor relations, is proficient in developing proposals, and skilled in assessing subcontractor capabilities and capacities.
Rosy will be joining Jackson Construction in our North Texas Richardson Office supporting our continued expansion into the North Texas K-12 market.

Since opening the North Texas office in January, Jackson Construction has been awarded several significant projects as the CMAR for School Districts within the area. As a result, we are in the process of bringing on additional talent to support our growth into Dallas/Fort Worth.
Quitman, July 20, 2017 – In June 2017, Jackson Construction won a CSP award to be the Construction Manager for Melissa ISD’s new North Creek Elementary School.
The project is located on the Greenfield Site in Melissa, TX and will consist of a new 75,000-sq. ft. School facility and Construction Work will consist of Civil, Landscape, Structural. Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Kitchen requirements.
Tim Jackson, President, and Owner of Jackson Construction responded to this award saying “I am so excited that our expansion into DFW has been a success. My team is very much looking forward to building a relationship with Melissa ISD, and I couldn’t be happier to have another opportunity to work with Stantec.”
Preconstruction of North Creek Elementary began in June of 2017, Construction began in July 2017, and the overall project is scheduled for completion in July 2018.
Melissa ISD’s CSP is the third North Texas project Jackson Construction has been awarded since opening their Richardson office in January 2017. This award brings Jackson Construction one step closer to reaching their goal of becoming one of the leading K-12 Construction Managers in North Texas while still maintaining their strong K-12 presence in East Texas where the business was founded 33 years ago.
Quitman, TX, July 19, 2017 – In June 2017, Jackson Construction won the role as Construction Manager-at-Risk for Jacksonville ISD’s Historic Tomato Bowl Stadium and High School CTE Building Additions and Renovations projects. This is a momentous win for Jackson Construction as it gives them their first opportunity to collaborate with Claycomb Associates, and it highlights their commitment to maintaining a strong presence in East Texas while they work to expand into the North and South Texas markets.
Both projects will begin in February 2018 with an estimated completion date of June 2019 for the stadium, and an estimated completion date of August 2018 for the CTE building.

Quitman TX, June 27, 2017 – On May 31, 2017, Jackson Construction’s project team finished the new 64,000-sq. ft. J.E. Rhodes Elementary school that replaced the facility destroyed during the tornado that devastated the City of Van on May 10, 2015.
The completion of this project concludes a significant part of the total Disaster Recovery Program that Jackson Construction has been a part of since 2015. Construction of J.E. Rhodes began in March of 2016, and the beautiful facility includes classrooms, administrative offices, a gym, cafeteria and outdoor learning center.
Jackson Construction along with Van ISD and Harris Craig Architects will be celebrating the completion at the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting event in August 2017.

Quitman TX, June 21, 2017 – 2017 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for Jackson Construction. As we continue with our expansion into the DFW and San Antonio markets, we are proud to announce significant wins with new School District partners in Melissa and Lewisville in North Texas, and Jacksonville ISD in East Texas. To support this continued growth, we have added exceptional talent to the Jackson team.
In May, Project Superintendent, John Herrera joined our team to help support our growth in San Antonio and Senior Estimator JD Hale joined our Preconstruction team in Richardson. In June, Superintendent Andy Grimes joined our North Texas team to help with our continued growth in the DFW market.
John Herrera, a Superintendent veteran for CMAR services, joined the Jackson Construction team to help lead our efforts in the San Antonio market. He brings over 20 years of K-12 construction experience and extensive knowledge in renovations to occupied existing structures as well as ground up projects. His strong leadership skills, attention to detail, work ethic and focus on operational excellence make John an excellent addition to our team. John is currently managing the Marion ISD Athletic Complex project in San Antonio.
JD Hale joins us in our Richardson office as a Senior Estimator for our Preconstruction Services team. He brings excellent subcontractor relations and an attention to thoroughness and detail in the preparation of cost estimates and design development budgets. His knowledge of the preconstruction process, the local marketplace, and construction cost trends ensures the integrity and accuracy of his preconstruction deliverables. JD is excited to once again team with our Director of Preconstruction, Bryan Parma, to provide excellence in Preconstruction Services to our K-12 partners.
Andy Grimes has joined Jackson Construction and brings more than 14 years in Education construction utilizing the CMAR Method. He has 38 years of commercial construction experience and a strong resume of K-12 projects, both ground up and additions/renovations to occupied campuses. He will lead all site operations with a relentless focus on providing quality services to our clients in the DFW area and we are proud of his commitment to establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with our customers, design partners and subcontractors working in collaborative environments.

After more than 33 years of providing exceptional CMAR services in the K-12 market, Founder and President Tim Jackson made the decision to expand the business into the Dallas/Fort Worth area and opened their North Texas office in January 2017.
